Mondrian – Plastic Reality has been updated to version EX4.1. This patch fixes some key bugs, like Splitter Blocks not being created with their Painted Colors. It also introduces two new levels – Suraname Smash and Piet’s Pattern. Both of these levels make great use of the new Painting Tools introduced in EX4.

As you can see in the above screenshot, we’ve also begun work on Hale Woodruff’s backgrounds! Hale’s style is incredibly detailed and harkens back to various periods throughout America’s history, positive and negative. He also painted some stylish and abstract landscapes. We’re looking forward to creating more background art influenced by his work!

If you watched the new EX4 Gameplay Trailer last week, you’ll have seen us constructing a level called “Core Breach.” This level has been completed! It does not come packed with the game, but instead is available as an exclusive download at mod.io. Make sure to upgrade to at least EX4 before playing, or the Painted Colors won’t work.

This update includes a lot of very important bug fixes, so make sure to read the latest Patch Notes, and get the game at itch.io or GameJolt!

As always, thank you for your support, and have fun with the game! Be sure to follow us everyone on social media, @lantanagames. We can’t wait to see what you build.
